The Mathilde Planck Programme consists of a PhD programme and a teacher training programme. The underlying aim is to qualify women to hold a professorship at a Fachhochschule (university of applied science).
The Schlieben-Lange Programme is an investment in the future which focuses on women with children who want to combine their scientific or artistic qualification with family and/or career activities. They want to start or continue their scientific or artistic career or pursue it parallel to their work.
The Schlieben-Lange Programme replaced the HWP, which finished at the end of 2006.
Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard-Foundation
The Foundation for the promotion of science and research, initiated in 2004, supports talented young women with children. It aims to enable them to create the freedom and mobility required to further their scientific careers. The Foundation wishes to help prevent science from loosing excellent talent. It is aimed specifically at graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the fields of experimental natural sciences and medicine.
