The Equal Opportunities Representative for the University of Hohenheim, Mrs Rotraud Konca (Dipl. oec.) advises and supports the Equal Opportunities Officer in all her tasks and in implementing her goals.

The tasks of the Equal Opportunities Representative include:

• Advising and supporting students and academic and scientific staff in their problems and project
• Establishing training and educational programmes aimed at women
• Establishing the Action Plan on Equal Opportunities and ensuring its compliance
• Developing measures to eradicate disadvantages caused by study and work conditions
• Drawing up recommendations for concrete affirmative action programmes for women
• Establishing and supporting organs and commissions of the University
• Preparing and coordinating the meetings of the Equal Opportunities Commission
• Carrying out PR work
• Maintaining contacts with all status groups of the University of Hohenheim, as well as with other universities and relevant institutions
• Providing advice and supervising the granting of scholarships (grants) within the Schlieben-Lange Programme
• Preparing the annual report
• Organising child supervision for special situations and the Hohenheim Campus Holidays for children of parents working at the University
• Running the Office for Equal Opportunities
